Camp Lineup helps parents get ready for summer camp registration. This policy explains exactly what we hold, why, and who can see it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
The short version. We store the kids' first names, ages and interests that you type in, and the camps you rank. We do not sell anything, we do not advertise, and no other user can see your family. Children never have accounts and never interact with us directly. When our planning assistant drafts suggestions, your children's names are never sent to it.
Camp Lineup is operated from Falls Church, Virginia by the same small company that makes One Little City. It is a separate product with separate data, though it shares the same sign-in system, so one Google account works for both.
We do not ask for a home address, a phone number, or payment details. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics that follow you around the web.
Only to run the product: to show camps that fit your child's age, to keep your board across devices, to draft suggestions when you ask, and to email you the plan before registration opens. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with camps or camp providers.
When you choose Build my summer, we send a request to Anthropic's Claude API to draft ranked suggestions.
Your children's names are never included. Each child is referred to only as "Child A", "Child B" and so on. The request contains an age, any interests you chose, and the list of camps that fit that age. The labels are matched back to your children on our own servers, after the reply comes back.
Anthropic processes the request to return a result and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models. The assistant only ever drafts — every suggestion it makes is editable, and it can never overwrite a pick you made yourself.
In Google Cloud Firestore, in the United States, within a Google Firebase project we control. Email is sent through Resend. Those providers process data on our behalf under their own security commitments.
There is currently no way to share a board with a co-parent. If we add one it will require your explicit action, and this policy will be updated before it ships.
Camp Lineup does not know whether a camp still has spaces, and cannot register your child for anything. We have no account with any camp or registration system, and we never act on your behalf. Everything we show about a camp comes from information the provider has published publicly.
We keep your data while your account exists. Removing a child from your board deletes that child and their ranked picks immediately. To delete your entire account and everything in it, email us and we will do it within 30 days — and confirm when it is done. Backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Virginia residents have these rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act, and we extend the same treatment to everyone regardless of where they live. Email the address below and we will not make it difficult.
Camp Lineup is a tool for parents. Children do not have accounts, cannot sign in, and never interact with the service.
The only information about a child in the product is a first name, an age and optional interests, all typed by their own parent or guardian, who can edit or delete it at any time. We do not knowingly collect any personal information directly from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, email us and we will delete it.
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access is controlled by database rules scoped to your own account. Sign-in is handled by Google — we never see or store a password. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects your data.
Camp Lineup is currently free. If we introduce a paid feature, payment will be handled by a third-party processor and we will never store your card details. This policy will be updated before that happens.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For any change that materially affects who can see your family's data, we will tell you directly rather than quietly editing this page.
Questions, corrections, or deletion requests: hello@onelittlecity.com. We read everything.
